He means just takedown techniques. It's like saying "lavatory" instead of "bathroom". Same shit except the person says it to sound more sophisticated haha.

You should know that the class starts at John's approximation of 12:45, which is what the rest of call around 1:15. So don't stress out trying to get there early.

Nah but I don't think you can say he lost either. It was a shitty decision by the judge. Most people disagreed with the decision but whatever. It was fun watching top level Judokas and even Mundial champion in 1 day.

i know this thread is just about dead, but i used to train at matt and nick serras academy on the island and they just added more takedown classes at there academy. they now have a 2 nogi and a gi takedown class every week! they have like half the amount of students there, and they have 3 takedown classes a week! man i would kill to have even one takedown class a week at renzos, gi or nogi.
